Substantial, late Victorian to early 20th Century heavy iron strapwork & slatted garden, park bench, 8ft in length. Beautiful in shape and design with original timber & bullnose finishing slats. Wonderfully weathered & preserved in lichen, which we have chosen to leave and that only enhances the look and characteristics of the seating. The bench has been stored inside for a short time to dry prior to being photographed to show the strength, character & rigidity of this exceptional piece. Whether this ends up in a period Victorian mature garden, a courtyard, an orangery or any indoor outdoor space, you can rest assured you will have invested in a thing of beauty.
Condition: All original with timber lathes in very good strong order. Lichen can be easily removed if preferred.
