An impressive and highly decorative 19th Century Regency, heavy gauge wrought iron strapwork & riveted bench, circa 1830.

Designed with strong aesthetics and intense craftsmanship, The considerable bench displays a balance of soft curves and flat framework. The arched and linear stretchers to the under structure bear support to the legs that terminate with an octagonal footing. (That fundamentally stops the bench from sinking into soft ground)

Displays an enviable colour and patination, showing wonderful remnants of old layered paint. Mainly green and putty cream with the odd red splash.

Totally original, untouched condition.
