A fabulous set of twelve early twentieth century Arts and Crafts church/chapel chairs constructed of oak & elm, circa 1920s. Each chair with a rectangular backrest and decorative trefoil pierced design along with a softly formed saddle seat supported by circular tapering legs to the front and gently curved full height quadrilaterals to the back, all united by a series of perimeter stretchers.
These type of Arts & Crafts chapel chairs are a rare find and we are pleased to offer them in pretty much the order they were sourced (minimal restoration). By that we mean we search high and low to find pieces like this with natural age related wear. (patination). that have that enviable look that fit so well into todays decorative interiors.

Condition: Solid, robust & fully functional. All the dings, dents, marks or scars associated with good working furniture. Super patination of colour and burr grain.
