A striking 19th century Chinese ebonised hardwood jardinière pot table / plant stand. The table is exquisitely carved in low to high relief with gadrooned apron and foliating pierced open fretwork above well crafted supports, sculpted with bamboo leaf and united by a cross stretcher acting as a further pot stand. The classy square top marble insert, in shades of green and pink complimenting the ebony colouring and brings the whole piece delightfully together.
Enviable patination of colour is deep brown to black.
Condition: Wear is only commensurate with its age and use and is overall in superb order. Strong, robust and fully functional.
