19th Century Pine Farmhouse Kitchen Scullery Table
19th Century Pine Farmhouse Kitchen Scullery Table
An impressive 19th Century Victorian pine kitchen scullery table with a three plank top and cleated ends sitting over two frieze drawers. Each substantial drawer is dovetail jointed to the back and front showing the added craftsmanship involved with each retaining its original and decorative bull nose turned handles which look incredibly like Bakelite and really set this piece off. The table shows remnants of lovely green paint, mostly to the back which adds further more to its character and charm.. All raised on square, slightly tapering supports which give good and adequate leg room.
A real interior design piece where the aesthetics are matched by its versatility and function.
Condition: Solid, robust and fully functional. Wear commensurate with age & use. Dings, dents or scars associated with a working piece of furniture. This is what gives this table its enviable good looks. Overall superb!
